Dr Vasant Hirani BSc(Hons), MSc PHN, DipNutrDiet ,PhD APD - Dietitian
Vasant is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) through the Dietitian's Association of Australia (DAA). She is a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney. She consults at Hills Doctorson Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

Vasant provides expert nutritional advice for all patients in the management of a wide range of chronic conditions that includes,but is not limited to diabetes, impaired glucose intolerance, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, hyerplipidaemia/dyslipidaemia, Irritable bowel syndrome and othergastrointestinal issues. She can also provide advice on general healthy eating and vegetarian/vegan diets.
 

Sandy Hinton B.Bus,Dip, Cert IV, MT,AMT
Remedial Massage Therapist
Sandy joins Hills Doctors recently with over 10 years of experience in massage.
Sandy provides treatments for clients of all ages including children to older adults with various musculoskeletal and mental health needs. Her client base includes amateur sports enthusiasts to those who are recovering from surgery, joint or musculoskeletal injuries and different health conditions such as MS, Transverse Myelitis, Scoliosis and; stress related conditions by providing treatment that assists with relaxing the mind and body.

Services include Remedial and Sports, Swedish/Relaxation and Pregnancy Massage, Chi Acupressure, Reflexology and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
 

Jennifer Maree O’Sullivan - Psychologist

Jennifer Maree O’Sullivan recently joined Hills Doctors as a Registered Psychologist.  Jennifer has worked in a number of capacities in private industries and government environments for the last twenty years.  She has been practicing as a psychologist for over 10 years holding a number of senior roles in Canberra, now in Sydney.

Her primary interests are in adult mental health issues, specifically in issues concerning trauma, depression, anxiety, the work place and parenting.  She has a strong background in psychometric testing and has specialised in personality profiling, vocational and selection testing and identifying psychopathology and also she has conducted research relating to attitudinal and behavioural development of teenagers. 

While trained in CBT and EMDR, when working with clients, she tailor’s her therapeutic approach and uses techniques that best meet the needs of the individual. 

Rosemary Hawke - Registered Child Psychologist

Rosemary Hawke recently joined Hills Doctors as a Registered Child Psychologist.

Rosemary Hawke is a registered Psychologist with a Masters in Educational/Developmental Psychology and a full member of the Australian Psychology Society.

Rosemary has over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, younger adults, couples and families. As well as many years of private practice, Rosemary has worked extensively in schools and conducts psychometric assessments to assess and diagnose developmental concerns (e.g. learning, behavioural, social). Recently, Rosemary has also enjoyed working with elderly clients.

Rosemary employs many different therapeutic approaches including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness training for depression/anxiety and the Gottman framework in relationship/family counselling. Rosemary tailors treatment around the client’s goals and needs using evidence-based clinical approaches.

Joy Hsueh - Acupuncturist

Joy Hsueh joined Hills Doctors as a Specialist Acupuncturist in November 2010. Joy has specialized her Acupuncture skills and Acupressure Massage skills in Hong Kong as well as at university of Sydney.

She has over 6 yrs of experience in Acupressure massage and acupuncture. She has vast knowledge of Acupuncture, point massage, and Chinese herbal medicine. She has specialized in the treatment of all kinds of pain related illnesses e.g. Arthritis, headache and sport injury etc., paralysis from stroke or Bell’s palsy, Infertility or female hormonal imbalances, Anxiety, stress and depression, skin disorders.

Jolina Rivera joined Hills Doctors as a Specialist Podiatrist in March 2014. Jolina has specialized her Podiatry skills in Westmead Hospital at High Risk Foot clinic.
She has over 12yrs. of experience in family Podiatry. She has vast knowledge of Podiatry, and Sports podiatry. She has specialized in the treatment of all kinds of pain related illnesses e.g. Arthritis, headache and sport injury etc. She has also worked in a sports Podiatry clinic heavily involved with Western Tigers Leagues Club.
